CRAM Fashion

Marc Engel (Owner)

Marc came to the United States in the mid 1990’s with a strong retail background already. After settling, he opened his first clothing boutique on Chicago’s prestigious Oak Street selling high end, luxury items for both men and women.

In 2008, the recession hit and Marc knew that he needed to change directions slightly. Venturing further north to Northalsted (then Boystown), Marc found a great opportunity to open a new store. This store was to be CRAM Fashion. And the name? Read it backwards.

Since 2009, CRAM has constantly evolved from selling women’s and kids to eventually becoming a men’s boutique in 2012.

Marc is actively in the store, along with Dexter, our adorable store mascot.

Danny Cairns (Manager)

Joining the CRAM team in early 2016 as a sales associate, Danny has slowly worked his way up to general manager of CRAM Fashion.

During his time at CRAM so far, Danny implemented the stores first ever rewards program for clients as well as updating cramfashion.com to become a platform for us to sell online to customers across the world.

Since joining the team, he has built up his own loyal client base that includes everyone from local regulars to familiar faces from the TV.

Danny’s mission is to elevate CRAM into a new era while continuing to maintain the outstanding customer experience we are known for.
